Tai Chi & Qigong in harmony with what you do

The Tai Chi journey is different for everybody. We took up Tai Chi and Qigong for difficult reaaons.

After practicing for a while, we should reflect on what we've learned and whether we feel different. Wherher our Tai Chi looks good to yourself or is satisfactory is another matter.

The other day, I had an interesting conversation with one of my students over progress. He said that he now plays piano like he is practicing Tai Chi and Qigong. But then he practices Tai Chi and Qigong like playing the piano. So all activities are now linked in harmony. This isn't as simple as it sounds and this sort of progress takes time. My student has been practising daily and for years and this is one of many results. Can anybody achieve this? Yes, but you cant force it.

Regarding my own practice, I've definitely changed. My mindset and priorities aren't the same as they were a decade ago. The way I do things have changed. The changes comes down to how deep your practice is. It has nothing to do with the external physical look. If you get it, you'd understand. If you're having doubts concerning progress, then you should rethink your training. At the end of the day, your training doesn't lie.

Tai Chi and Qigong should be harmony with what you do.
