Quick fix kung fu
In recent weeks, we have seen waves of violence that have affected Hong Kong. Hong Kong is well known as an open and modern city. However, the recent waves of violence have changed how we now view life in Hong Kong. I won't go into the politics, but I am concerned about the wellbeing of all who have been affected by these events. There are a number of innocent bystanders who ended up getting injured. Can I learn from watching Youtube or DVD's?
This is a topic that goes around from time to time. Quite often people will often ask if they can learn from YouTube or from videos. There are no simple answers to this and it is also the cause of a lot of bad practice. I can't speak for other styles of martial arts, but the issue is more obvious in Tai Chi. The difference between Qigong & Tai Chi?
I was recently asked about the difference between Qigong and Tai Chi. This was a good question, because it was observant of them to notice, yet most people accept what they are told. I'll keep the answer brief, because it would be no fun if you haven't got anything to ponder upon. Qigong are basically breathing exercises that help with concentration, mindfulness and meditation.
